My name is Megan Wingard Stern, and I’m the founder of The Proverbs 2 Project. I began this project as part of my undergraduate thesis at Covenant College, where I graduated in May 2017 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Psychology, Sociology, Music). After graduation, I decided to take a break from blogging for a little while, so that I could get married and seek the Lord’s guidance on what he had for me next in this particular calling. I married my husband, Tim, in August 2017, and it has already been a grand adventure.

Like everyone, God has given me a unique story, and I have felt a calling to use what I have learned through my personal story to make a difference in the church. I ran from this calling for a while, and this project was the beginning of my journey of saying, like Isaiah, “Here I am. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8). My prayer is that God will use me as a vessel, that he will speak his words and his wisdom through me, and that he will continue to strengthen me to joyfully do his good work, whatever that may hold. All of the original blog posts are still accessible on this site, and I still respond to comments and emails, even when I’m not actively blogging. So please continue to read, respond, and engage in discussion with one another. Stay tuned for more to come!
